my story

Food has always played a pivitol role in my life. From family dinners, to helping my parents cook, to absolutely loving going grocery shopping, it's always been something of interest to me. However it wasn't until my first year at Dickinson College when I found my passion for food systems. While I still love nearly everything about food, I have become especially interested in the complex system that includes how food is produced, accessed, consumed, and wasted, and how each step of this process has significant social and environmental implications. Currently, I am enrolled in a MS/MA dual degree program at Tufts University, where I am studying food systems planning.
