growth

Throughout the past four years I have involved myself in a variety of environmentally-related groups and projects, but have been particularly involved with sustainable food systems, both academically and extracurricularly. I have worked on a number of small-scale organic and integrated pest management farms. I have worked to increase the availability of sustainable food in Dickinson's dining locations. I have organized large-scale events centered on food and agriculture. I have been involved with food waste. I have worked with low-access communities. While each of these opportunities have been entirely unique, they have provided me with insight with regard to the complex nature of the food system, and the interconnectedness of both problems and solutions.
